Happy Halloween!
Yes, I'm exhausted. I should go to bed but I'm all hopped up on sugar. (Not really, but I feel like I should be. At least, I wish I was.) I felt terrible all day (terrible I tell you!) about the English exam that I took this morning which I just know I bombed. Talk about a knotted stomach all day.
This evening we went to our neighbourhood pizza party before all the kids were turned loose onto the streets to wreak havoc. Jesse proved that he is growing up by announcing that he was heading off with his buddies, and bye! I took Libby over to her best friend Abby's house so they could trick-or-treat together. After all, they did have matching costumes and the effect would be rather lost if they went out separately.
Anyway, it's late. I'm tired. Here are pictures.
Libby had no problem getting into character.
Jess has been freaking me out with this hideous mask. He'll enter a room wearing it and just wait until I notice and brrrr....I hate it!
I asked to see Jesse's face; his expression as he pulled down his mask was so cute!
Notice how Francie has managed to fit her entire head inside the pumpkin. Smart girl.
At the neighbourhood pizza party. We were blessed with lovely mild weather. No numb fingers and toes this Halloween.
Jesse and his friends went back to one of their houses where they all madly traded candy. Those willing to give up their full sized candy bars could command a high price in return.

Kevin and Mia decided they wanted to trick-or-treat with their friends rather than us. Sigh.
Looks like Libby got quite a haul. And good stuff, too. Yum.
The kids are gorgeous as usual!
Yeah, I have to agree with Jen, that is one creepy mask. Libby is adorable as usual. A Webkinz cat, very original! Soph, Ash and Josiah are currently addicted to Webkinz, so I'll have to show the pictures to them later.
Sounds like he understands horror. I submit: Michael Myers in the Halloween series. Who knew a William Shatner mask painted white could be so creepy?
The youngins look great -- hope you feel better.
It was a REALLY quiet night in our neighborhood. We have a TON of left-over candy. Good thing I bought the stuff that I like.... how coincidental...
Your kids are so very cute! That mask would scare me too - creeeeeepy!
Aww looks like the perfect Halloween at your house.
Libby got some good loot ... look at all the Reese's cups!! YUM!!
