Good study food is an absolute essential.
[this is good]
I like being prepared.

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. But we might blame retailers for pushing their Christmas stuff as early as September in hopes of procuring your business.

See, that's why terms like "Happy HallowThankamas" were born, and movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas.
If it's Halloween, all the candy is calorie free, especially if pilfered from your children's candy bags. Lily Allen is awesome. I love her. Ruby Tuesday doesn't impress me. Christmas? I was under the impression it is customary to start shopping 2 weeks before. Helpful husbands rock. I know, I have one too. Hmm, maybe I need to go to college. Seriously, it would give me an excuse to eat "study food". And Libby, sweet sweet Libby! Poor thing, she really was sick, eh?
get well soon Libby!
Exactly! How could I study properly without spilling gaucamole on my hoodie? (This really happened and I was disgusted with myself :)

You know, it's probably true that it's because I've been seeing Christmas stuff in the store for over a month now that I've got gift-buying on my mind. That, and the fact that I always buy well in advance.

And The Nightmare Before Christmas? Love that show!

What about if the candy is taken from the bowl of candy you plan to give out on Halloween night (if there's any left)? It's still caloris free then, right?

Lily Allen is awesome; thank you for turning me onto her!

It is customary to be doing Christmas shopping two weeks before Christmas, but only to add to the pile of gifts that you have been procuring for two months previously.

Yep, Libby was really sick. It wasn't just a tactic to get me off the phone ;)

Aw, thanks. She is determined to be better by tomorrow so as not to miss out on all the Halloween fun. I think even if she still feels grotty she will drug up and brave the cold in order to trick-or-treat.
