Errands Todd ran for me: Eight (Count them - Target, Petsmart, Home Depot, Sally Beauty Supply, Joanne's Fabric, Blockbuster, Jesse to barber's for a haircut, Hallowe'en store. Yes, he went to Sally Beauty Supply and Joanne's for me. Clearly the man is a saint.)
Predicted number of study hours: 15 (at the very least!)
Actual number of study hours: About two.
Study food consumed: Ben and Jerry's Half Baked, lime Doritos and guacamole, pumpkin bars (to die for!)
Sick children: One (Poor Libby)
Number of times sick child has said, "I feel like I'm going to drop dead!" : Far. too. many. (I think she takes after her mother)

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. But we might blame retailers for pushing their Christmas stuff as early as September in hopes of procuring your business.
See, that's why terms like "Happy HallowThankamas" were born, and movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas.
You know, it's probably true that it's because I've been seeing Christmas stuff in the store for over a month now that I've got gift-buying on my mind. That, and the fact that I always buy well in advance.
And The Nightmare Before Christmas? Love that show!
What about if the candy is taken from the bowl of candy you plan to give out on Halloween night (if there's any left)? It's still caloris free then, right?

It is customary to be doing Christmas shopping two weeks before Christmas, but only to add to the pile of gifts that you have been procuring for two months previously.
